Thee Empire, The Poet

I wrote this when I was emotionally, psychologically, and physically bruised by a lot of things happening in the township.

What was going on in my mind was to ask questions and write statements in my way of dealing with the stress; a coping mechanism. I wrote, “HOW IS LIFE? WHAT IS LIFE?”

I want to encourage and inspire people that go through stuff that I go through right now.

Thee Empire, The Poet
Sandile Fanana

It all started with the thought of connecting humans together from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Different landscapes of Vrygrond and Muizenberg let us explore how they build relationships and bridge the gap of inequalities through transgressive learning for just futures. The journey is never easy, but through weaving and exchanging together, learning and unlearning, we are given courage to want to explore more and see what could emerge from these relationships. We want to discover how we make sure we give an open platform to everyone who wishes to get involved in this eco-network.
